Brief Introduction
Hazlie Mokhlis received the Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng. (Hons)) degree and Master of Engineering Science (M. Eng.Sc) in Electrical Engineering from University of Malaya in 1999 and 2003 respectively. He received PhD degree from the University of Manchester in 2009. He is currently Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya. He held several important positions; Deputy Dean Research (2013-2014), Deputy Dean Postgraduate Studies (2014-2015, 2017-2018), Deputy Dean Undergraduate Studies (2018-2019, 2021-2023) and Head of Department (2015-2017) at the Faculty of Engineering. Dr Hazlie is actively involved in research as a principal investigator with a total amount of research grant worth more than RM 2.5 million. He is the author and co-author of more than 300 publications in international journals and proceedings in the area of Power Systems and Energy. Up to now, he had successfully supervised 32 PhD, 10 Master (by research) and 56 Master (Mix-mode and Course Work) candidates. He is also active as reviewer for many reputable journals and several international conferences in the area of power and energy system. His outstanding research had been recognized by Stanford University in 2020 as one of the top 2% scientists in the world and in 2021 he was awarded Top Research Scientist Malaysia by Academic Science Malaysia. Besides research, he is also active in the development of Malaysian Standard as a member of Working Group in Development of Malaysian's Power System Analysis and Studies (WG6) and Expert Representative in IEC for project TC 8/PT 62786. Prof Hazlie is a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council UK and a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He is also an external examiner/assessor for many local universities for the Electrical Engineering programme. Currently, He is chairman of IEEE Power Energy Society, Malaysia Chapter session 2020-2021 and Associate Editor for IEEE Access journal. His research is focusing on improving the efficiency and resiliency of power system operation.
Prof. Chengxi Liu

Brief Introduction
Chengxi Liu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2013. Prior to his current position, he served as a System Analyst at Energinet.dk (the Danish TSO) until 2016, and later as a Research Associate at the University of Tennessee, USA. He was previously an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy Technology at Aalborg University. Currently, he holds the position of Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Wuhan University.his research interests encompass power system stability and control, power system simulation, renewable energy integration and control, as well as the application of artificial intelligence to power systems. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the Chinese "Thousand Youth Talents Program" award in 2018. He is an IEEE senior member and a member of CIGRE. Additionally, he serves as an associate editor for the IET Journal of Engineering. He has authored over 80 papers, including 30 SCI papers, and has filed 10 patents in China and the United States.
Throughout his career, Professor Liu has actively participated in various significant projects. He contributed to the analysis and design of the systematic protection scheme (SPS) for the Danish national grid and played a key role in designing the core algorithm of the automatic voltage control system (AVC). Moreover, he has been involved in multiple high-voltage direct current projects in Denmark, proposing site selection and capacity determination schemes. His expertise has been acknowledged with multiple best reviewer awards from renowned international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid. In the past, he has led projects including the sub-project of the Danish Strategic Research Center, the Danish State Grid Corporation, and the United States UTK Interdisciplinary Research Fund. Currently, he is leading projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of China and the sub-project of the National Key R&D Program in China.
Prof. Zhaoxi Liu

Brief Introduction
Zhaoxi Liu (Senior Member, IEEE) received his bachelor and master degrees from Tsinghua university and his Ph.D. degree from Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He is currently a professor at the School of Electric Power Engineering, South China University of Technology. He has over ten years of experience in the academic research and industrial projects of power and energy engineering in China, Denmark and the United States. He has contributed to more than fifteen large-scale industrial power engineering projects. He has published more than 50 articles as the author or co-author in journals, as book chapters or in conference proceedings. His research interests include power system operation and control, power system security and risk management, and the integration of renewable energy sources and distributed energy resources in energy systems.
